Tonight I sat in my car together with a friend, at the end of a party-evening. We were talking about the world. Why do stars sparkle, how many of them are normally gone cause the light only travels at lightspeed.
Then I told her about what I've heard in a physics lesson about lightspeed and relativity. Time isn't what we think it is, it is fluently and depends on the spectator. The was one lesson, a good thought by Einstein, a lesson that stayed in my mind since then.
Then I though about another thing. Coming from some great philosopher I admire, it is Kant. He said that time and space don't nessesarily come from the world into us, rather than we interpret time and space into the world to understand it. We don't see the real world, rather than an understandable image of it. A good thought by Kant.
Once I saw a great movie called "Matrix", which made me think about all that again. Why are we here, is the world we see truely real and why do we all feel so alone. A good though by the Wachowski Brothers. And another movie that came to me: "Fight Club". About a life that doesn't go the way it is "supposed" to. Why is this all wrong? Why is an imaginary friend worth less than a "real". Another good thought by Chuck Palahniuk.
Then a good thought by me came to my mind: Since I remember all those events. All those good thoughts, all that true wisdom that will go with me my whole life, I'll remember it forever and that is a thing that I'm really happy about, cause I believe it makes you understand the world a lot better. My good thought was: I'm longing for good thoughts, it is one true thing I really care about. I'm eager on finding more of them. Isn't my life then a search for good thoughts??!
